What will I learn?
What is HVAC and Refrigeration Technical Certificate?
The HVAC and Refrigeration Technical Certificate offers students an array of courses to develop knowledge and technical skills in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration. Topics of study include refrigeration theory, heating theory, mechanical system applications, installations, safety, tools and instruments, and general maintenance practices of recovery evacuation, repair and commissioning. Additional topics include system load design including efficient and balanced designed for ductwork, ventilation, and filtration. Students will explore advanced control systems for HVAC and other mechanical equipment. Students will also explore how modern systems improve efficiency and reliability.
