Library Guidelines

The library staff strives to provide various spaces and services for study and research for all students.  To get the most benefit from your library experience, please keep in mind the following guidelines:

  • Ask questions!  The library staff is here to help you.

  • Need technology?  The computers in the research lab are for Internet access and the computers in the second lab (room L-209) are for class work and CSCC licensed software only.

  • In order to maximize everyone's access and time on the campus computer network, please limit your time on the computers to learning.  Use Internet games, commercial videos and movies at home.

  • Your student ID is needed to check out library materials and to print from the computers.

  • Cell phones may be used in the library foyer.

  • Water bottles, covered drinks and non-messy snacks are okay away from keyboards and books, please.

  • Refer a friend!  Tell everyone how much you love the library and that they should come check us out.

  • Share your ideas and needs with us. You and your ideas make this your library!

Thanks for helping create and maintain a positive library environment.
