The Office of Academic Affairs serves as the foundation for faculty and staff from the following four divisions and three support departments: Business/Technology, Health & Wellness, Humanities/Social Sciences, Science/Mathematics, the Library, Continuing Education and Training, and Center of Emphasis. The office works with all areas of the college to ensure a positive experience for teaching and learning. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees.
There are also numerous certificates and non-credit courses that are available. Courses are delivered in a variety of formats including lecture/discussion, long-distance learning, world-wide web and video. Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree courses, as well as many Associate of Applied Science courses, are transferable to four-year colleges and universities. There are approximately seventy-five full-time, highly-qualified faculty who are dedicated to teaching and are concerned about student welfare and learning.
