In the history of CSCC, many Cougar teams and individuals have compiled outstanding records. The college is the only Tennessee two-year institution to participate in national tournaments in all sports that are sanctioned by the TJCCAA. Individually, athletes in men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, women’s softball and golf have garnered All-American status. Efforts are on-going for Cleveland State athletes to achieve this same success in the classroom. These outstanding athletes bring pride and recognition of quality to the community, region, and Cleveland State Community College.
