Cody Ferrell
LHP/OF
Lebanon, TN
Cumberland University
Cody will be heading to raining NAIA National Champion Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. Ferrell was a very unique player during his tenure at Cleveland State as he was a dual player on the mound and at the plate. His freshman year Cody saw the majority of his time on the mound posting a 6-2 record. His sophomore season was the exact opposite where he saw most of this time in the outfield and at the plate batting .339 with 11 homeruns with 2 of those being game winners. Ferrell will always be remembered as a competitor and a tireless worker and will bring those same traits with him as he furthers his playing career.

Drew Fox
C/OF
Seymour, TN
University of the Cumberlands
Drew was the type of kid you like to have on your team, was mostly an outfielder his freshman year and transferred to a dual player his sophomore year with catching included. Was a huge role player for us over his two years and made great strides in becoming the player he wants to be. Fox possesses speed and athleticism which are plus traits as a catcher. Fox will be missed and the University of the Cumberlands are getting an outstanding addition to their program. |
|
Quentin Bowman
RHP/3B
Knoxville, TN
University of the Cumberlands
Quentin will be joining current Cougar teammate Drew Fox at the University of the Cumberlands. Bowman started his career with the Cougars at 3B, but after realizing what an outstanding arm Quentin had, saw it better fit for him to be on the mound. Bowman had some quality innings for the Cougars his sophomore season and should be able to claim the closers role at U of the Cumberlands. With a little more work on the mound Bowman has the potential to be a big time arm. |

Tyler Brown
RHP
Cleveland, TN
Union University
Tyler transferred to Cleveland State after his freshman year at Bryan College. Tyler was an immediate impact pitcher for the Cougars and was a mainstay at the 2 spot in the rotation on the weekend. Brown was a groundball/out type of pitcher with 4 plus pitches he could throw for strikes. Tyler will be an immediate weekend guy for Union and they will be very pleased with his makeup and competitiveness. |
