Registration

Registering for classes has become much easier over the past few years with the use of Internet service. New students entering Cleveland State for the first time will be invited to a special session of orientation and registration where they will receive assistance with online registration. Continuing students have the advantage of registering online during the early open web period by simply speaking with his/her advisor. Students are assigned an academic advisor once admission is complete. The academic advisor will assist the student in developing career/educational goals and preparing a class schedule. Students should review the schedule of classes and consult with an academic advisor to plan an appropriate schedule. Students must speak with the academic advisor each semester prior to registering for classes. The academic advisor submits access to online registration. Once the advisor has advised the student and submitted access the student can go online from any computer during the registration time period and register for classes. It is the student’s responsibility to enroll in the courses that fulfill the requirements of his/her goal.

Registration days and times are announced through public media and are available in the printed catalog, class schedules and on our web site. For additional information you may contact the Admissions and Records Office.
