Cougars Moving On to Four Year Schools 2008

Tra Okoth

Carson Newman College

Tra was a two year starter for Cleveland State and he has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and playing career at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee.  During Okoth's sophomore season he led the team in scoring at 19 points per game.  Tra was also named to the All-East TJCCAA team, All-TJCCAA team, All Region 7 regular season team and tournament team.  Cleveland State Athletic Department wish Tra great success in his future endeavors

 

 

Ernest Saunders

Milligan College

Ernest Saunders was a two year starter for the Cougars and he has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his education and playing career at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee.  Ernest was a leader on and off the court and his mentality was a big contributor to the Cougars success over the last two seasons.  Ernest plays with a huge heart and determination which will make him an outstanding contributor for Milligan over the next two years.
