This position will be part of a team that conducts activities related to enrollment management and student recruitment, including high school visits, college recruitment presence at community events/activities, college visits and tours, dual enrollment, and communication with prospective students.

  • Initiate and coordinate recruitment activities targeting high school students in the college’s service area, developing and maintaining positive relationships with school staff and administration.
  • Manage the prospective student database and communication with prospective students, including direct mail, phone, and other electronic contact and follow-up with inquiries and prospects.
  • Initiate college participation in community fairs/events/etc. which may provide opportunities for outreach, and coordinate staff coverage for such events.
  • In conjunction with staff in other departments, coordinate recruitment activities for adult/non-traditional students and other student groups in accordance with the college’s diversity initiatives.
  • Work with the Marketing and Public Information department to develop recruitment materials appropriate for all audiences including high school students, non-traditional/adult students, and students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Develop and coordinate special events/activities at the college that will assist in recruitment and enrollment development.  Assist with other college-sponsored events to ensure availability of recruitment services.
  • Counsel prospective students regarding the enrollment process, college programs and services, and admission requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct detailed information sessions and tours for groups and individuals visiting the college.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.  Previous experience in college admissions/recruitment or related field, and demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, required. Master’s degree and previous supervisory experience, community college experience and knowledge of Banner software preferred.

 

SALARY RANGE:           $29,568 – $36,960
