Cleveland State Vehicles

Cleveland State has two (2) cars and two (2) mini vans available for staff and faculty business travel. The cars and vans are housed at the Maintenance Building. Expenses for mileage are charged to user’s department.

The procedure for reserving a car or van is as follows:

• Call the Maintenance Department, at extension 292 or send email to Maintenance to check availability of car or van for date and time needed.
• Please note that vehicles are available on a first come first serve basis only.
• Follow through with travel authorization with appropriate signatures.
• Pick up vehicle at Maintenance Building before 4 p.m.
• Park your personal car inside the fenced area where the state vehicles are kept.
• Complete mileage form with beginning and ending mileage.
• A gas credit card is provided for long trips. Credit cards must be guarded closely and returned when state vehicle is returned.
