Dual Enrollment Grants/Scholarships

Tennessee Dual Enrollment Lottery Grant

To qualify for this grant a student must be a Tennessee citizen and resident of the state for one year prior to enrollment. Initially students must meet eligibility to be a dual enrollme nt student. For continued participation, a student must maintain a 2.75 cumulative college grade point average that shall b e certified by an Enrollment services representative each semester. Students eligible to participate in Tennessee Dual Enro llment Grant program may receive up to $600 per award year ($300 per semester), paid at the rate of $100 per semester credi t hour.

If you are eligible and choose to use state lottery money, YOU MUST fill out the online application through the state to qualify for this grant. Please apply online for lottery grant prior to turning in Dual Enrollment registration packet.

Public Higher Education Fee Discount for Children Of Licensed Public School Teachers and Children of State Employees

Dual Enrollment Scholarship Application

Need-Based - This scholarship is based on family income. The scholarship pays the balance of one class (after lottery grant is applied) and required textbook.

To qualify a student must meet the following requirements:

  • 1. Completed scholarship application, with first page of parent previous year income tax return
  • 2. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and composite ACT score of 19 and 19 in the subject area that you wish to take

* Foundation scholarships are applied to tuition and books only. NO CASH REFUNDS. Please have application completed and turn in with Dual Enrollment registration packet.

Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Grant
