Foundation

“Community” is a powerful word. It isn't just in the name of the college but it represents a greater network of support.  The Cleveland State Community College Foundation is made up of community leaders who believe in education and support the mission of Cleveland State. Established in 1971, the Foundation has awarded over $4 million in scholarships to almost 6,000 students.

The Foundation is an institutionally related, separate legal entity operated as a tax-exempt corporation chartered within the state of Tennessee. It is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) foundation created to promote and support the charitable and developmental purposes and objectives of Cleveland State Community College. The foundation is the official fund-raising arm of the college and is governed by a board of trustees.
