April is Community College Month

The Cleveland Daily Banner will be joining us in celebrating National Community College month by featuring stories written by various members of the Cleveland State family, as well as stories on successful CSCC students, both traditional and non-traditional, written by the Banner.

Avery Ladd once was blind, but now he can see. The 33-year-old who moved from Los Angeles, Calif., to Tennessee with his family has found himself in place that he did not dream of being about 10 years ago. He is an art major at Cleveland State Community College.
