    The program for Cleveland State Community College’s 2015 commencement exercises Saturday morning listed more than 400 who would receive their degrees and certificates.

    It also listed the commencement speaker.

    The speaker had no idea that before the morning was over, he would join the CSCC graduating class of 2015.

    For the past year we have heard a great deal about Tennessee Promise – a ground-breaking new initiative to provide all graduating high school seniors in the state an opportunity to attend two years of college for “free.”  Applications for this program have far-surpassed everyone’s expectations and we are excited to welcome our first class of Tennessee Promise students this fall.

    CLEVELAND, TN. – Approximately 500 students of Cleveland State’s class of 2015 will receive their degrees and certificates during the 49th Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m. in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium.

  • CSCC Wildlife Society Hosts Inaugural Wild Game Dinner

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Cleveland State Community College Wildlife Society is hosting an inaugural wild game dinner on Saturday, April 25 from 4-8 p.m. in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium. Admission is $10 per person or $5 if you bring a dish. All proceeds raised from this dinner will go to fund activities for the Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society.

  • Anna Rants Cashes Best Ticket in Town

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Whirlpool employee Anna Rants made a lot of excuses why she could not go back to school until she found out about the Best Ticket in Town Program through Whirlpool, a program where their employees are able to take courses through Cleveland State’s Advance program for working adults in order to complete a Business degree in an accelerated amount of time.

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Cleveland State Community College has recently made some changes to its Advance Business program for working adults. Advance Business is the College’s accelerated program that offers students a quick and convenient way to obtain a college degree. Now, this program is even more quick and convenient than before!
