  • Fall Registration Currently Underway at CSCC

    It’s not too late to apply for fall classes at Cleveland State Community College! Fall registration is currently being held at CSCC through Thursday, August 20 for all students. The last day to submit applications for degree seeking students is Friday, August 14, and the deadline for submitting financial aid documents is Tuesday, June 30.

    Cleveland, TN–¬Cleveland State and Lee University are proud to announce the creation of a two-day professional development symposium aptly titled, “Peak Performance: A Business Excellence Symposium. The conference theme this year is, “Driving Organizational Efficiency & Effectiveness.” The Excellence Symposium will take place on Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11, at the Humanity building located at Lee University. The symposium will begin each day at 9:00 a.m.

  • Cleveland State Announces Academic Honors

    Cleveland, TN–Cleveland State Community College is pleased to recognize the talented academic students for the 2015 spring semester. Each semester, those students achieving a 4.0 grade point average are recognized by being placed on the President’s List, Cleveland State’s highest academic honor. The Vice President for Academic Affairs will recognize outstanding academic students maintaining a 3.5 to 3.99 grade point average by placing their names on the Dean’s List. Those students achieving a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average are recognized by being placed on the Honor Roll. To qualify for these awards, a student must have completed at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses during the term.

  • CSCC Smooth Transition to TWC for Duckett

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Whitney Duckett had always planned to go to a four-year institution after graduating from Tellico Plains High School in 2011, but when her parents’ financial situation changed, she did not want to be a burden on them and decided Cleveland State was a better fit for her family at the time. This decision proved to be the right one.

  • CSCC Receives Notice of Affirmation of Accreditation

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Board of Trustees of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) met on Thursday and approved Cleveland State Community College’s reaffirmation of accreditation. Colleges are responsible for completing a reaffirmation process every ten years. CSCC has maintained its regional accreditation since its founding.

  • Maureen Baksh-Griffin Selected for Maxine Smith Fellows Program

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. –Maureen Baksh-Griffin, Assistant Professor of Nursing, at Cleveland State Community College, has been selected to participate in the 2015 Tennessee Board of Regents’ Maxine Smith Fellows Program. TBR is the governing body for 46 universities, community colleges and technology centers throughout the state.
