    As I am about to reach my second anniversary at Cleveland State I cannot help but be a very proud President - proud of our faculty and staff, our administrative team and the accomplishments we have achieved to serve the best community anywhere.  Chief among these accomplishments are every student who achieves their academic goals and every person who is well trained to satisfy the needs of our businesses and industry.

    CLEVELAND, TN. – Approximately 280 students of Cleveland State’s class of 2015 will receive their degrees and certificates during the commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 12 at 10 a.m. in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium.

  • Torbett starts Rotaract Club at CSCC

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. –Before Hunter Torbett even enrolled at CSCC, he had made up his mind that he wanted to start a Rotaract Club if there wasn’t already one at the college. Rotaract is a college-level service organization affiliated with the Rotary Club. The goals of Rotaract are to better service the surrounding community through various volunteer efforts. While Rotary Clubs serve as sponsors, Rotaract Clubs decide how to organize and run their club and what projects and activities in which to become involved.

  • CSCC Develops New Institutional Advancement Division with Wright at the Lead

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Cleveland State Community College recently created a new campus division—the Institutional Advancement Division. The Institutional Advancement Division will consist of the members of the original Institutional Advancement Department, and the Marketing and Public Relations Department will also move to the new division. In addition, the department will also be the home to both the Grant Development Specialist and the new Coordinator of Alumni Relations position.

  • CSCC’s Dale Selected as PTK Faculty Scholar

    CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Karen Dale, Associate Professor of Music, at Cleveland State Community College, was recently selected to serve as a Phi Theta Kappa’s 2016/2017 Faculty Scholar. Dale was among thirty community college instructors selected from among nearly 3,000 chapter advisors.
