What is RSS / CLSCC on the Go?

RSS, pronounced "arr-ess-ess", is an XML format for distributing news headlines on the Web, also known as syndication. It stands for one of the following: Rich Site Summary, Really Simple Syndication, RDF Site Summary. CLSCC on the Go is a new program/initiative to provide up to date news to our visitors with ease in mind.

How does RSS differ from browsing the Web?

RSS saves you time by focusing on specific articles that you may find more interesting. You can read the article title before navigating to a Web page

How do I use RSS?

To use RSS, you'll need an RSS reader. There are numerous RSS readers available that work as a standalone application or straight from your browser.

The SharpReader RSS reader for Windows computers is free and extremely easy to use.

The screenshot to the left is an example of browsing our news articles with the RSS SharpReader.

Mozilla Firefox also has the ability to subscribe to RSS feeds through a "Live Bookmark" or a third party plugin.
