Populations
Children 18 in the court system who are at risk to be abused and neglected
Requirements Agency
Business casual dress. To become a CASA you must have background check and fingerprinting. We provide thisInterns for the office do not have to go through this screening process.
Opportunities
Students can work in the office ie filing legal research event planning volunteer coordinating grant research and writing fundraising. If they would like to become a casa the training and background checks are free. They would go through a 35 hour training session and be sworn in as an officer of the court before being court appointed to investigate child abuse cases.
