GRAAB: (Going Respectfully Against Addictive Behavior)
Date Added: 2010Mission
The mission of the G.R.A.A.B. Coalition is to bring together concerned members of the community and service providers to facilitate lowering the misuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs as well as other addictive behaviors in Bradley County by providing effective education, recovery, and support for youth, families, and the community.
The G.R.A.A.B. Coalition is the anti-addictive behavior coalition for Cleveland and Bradley County, Tennessee - formed by a powerful partnership between local and state agencies and organizations. Currently, our focus is on the illicit and addictive use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs - especially as it relates to our youth. With time, we hope to expand that focus to include all addictive behaviors.
Our partners are committed to the vision that we can one day live in a community where, because of effective prevention, drug abuse and other addictive behaviors are rare - but when they do occur, are responded to with treatment and recovery resources that work and are available to anyone - regardless of status or income.
