People for Care and Learning
Mission
People for Care and Learning (PCL) is a Non-Profit 501(C)3 Humanitarian Foundation, chartered in 2001, to provide "Care and Learning" opportunities around the world to give the poor a "working chance." We are dedicated to benevolently serving the world’s poor by helping children, widows and their adult communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty.
Our Purpose
...To Address Systemic Problems of Poverty
PCL seeks to obey Christ’s call to serve the poor by providing opportunities for impoverished people to transform their lives through schools, feeding centers, orphan and widow care, vocational training, leadership development, basic business education and micro enterprise development.
Our Commitment
...To Give the Poor a Working Chance
To serve the poor via a dynamic process of synthesizing, networking, collaborating, pulling together and focusing ideas, products and human resources toward this goal.
To continually learn in community, listen to others, read widely, brainstorm with enthusiasm; continually discovering frames and models that fit the many and disparate pieces together.
