Photo Cutline: Ann Cunningham, Associate Professor at Cleveland State Community College, was recently recognized as the first recipient of the Service-Learning Champion Award at the CSCC Fall 2009 In-service. Cunningham embraced the service-learning concept after participating in workshops presented by Vanderbilt University and redesigned her course to include an innovative service-learning project that benefited her 50 students, as well as 200 area high school students.
