CSCC College Democrats

Mission Statement:

We are dedicated to raising awareness of student related political issues, creating constructive forums, educating about, and campaigning for a democratic agenda and democratic candidates in all communities served by Cleveland State Community College

About us:

We are a new chapter of the National College Democrats of America, the student outreach arm of the Democratic National Committee. Our main goal at this time is getting the word out to all of the democratic minded students of CSCC and creating a strong united voice to use on issues that affect us whether it is in our local communities or across our nation. We will be working hard to connect with neighboring college campus chapters, our local democratic office, and local democratic candidates.

What we are working on:

• Voter registration events
• On campus debates
• Issue awareness weeks (promoting awareness of an issue each week of a semester)
• Grassroots training events
• Get out the vote for upcoming elections
