Approximately 75 student-athletes compete in five inter-collegiate sports as members of TJCAA and NJCAA, including baseball, softball, golf and men's and women's basketball.
   Twenty-one former Cougar baseball players are playing professional baseball. Jason David is the most recent player to reach the Major Leagues, pitching for the Cleveland Indians.
  Three Cleveland State athletes were named to the 2003 NJCAA Academic All-American Team and two members of the Cleveland State golf team received 2003 NJCAA All-American honors.
  The Cleveland State Golf Team has been ranked in the top ten in the nation, for the past three years.
