– Cleveland State Community College paramedic class recently achieved 100% pass rate on the paramedic state practical test. All 13 paramedic students passed the state practical test. These students will also complete a comprehensive exam to earn their Tennessee paramedic license.
“Achieving a 100% pass rate on the state paramedic practical exam is an outstanding accomplishment that reflects the dedication of our students, the expertise of our faculty, and the strength of our EMS program,” said Dr. Sandra Godsey, Dean of Career and Industry Programs. “This milestone demonstrates that our graduates are not only prepared to meet the highest professional standards but are also ready to serve their communities with skill, confidence, and compassion. We are incredibly proud of this cohort and congratulate them on reaching this significant achievement.”
Paramedic students must already be licensed Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) before beginning the 43-hour credit program that is completed over three terms. Class size is typically less than 16 students, and it is offered at the main campus in Cleveland.
