CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Cleveland State Community College has a variety of scholarships available to both current and prospective students, traditional and non-traditional.

High school seniors are eligible to apply for the following scholarships:

Presidential Honors Program Scholarship: This is a scholarship for seniors who excel academically. Students will receive a $2000 annual scholarship. This requires a minimum 3.5 grade point average (G.P.A.) and a 25 composite ACT score. The deadline to apply is Jan. 15.

Principal’s Scholarship: This scholarship requires a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. and a 19 composite ACT score. High school seniors are chosen in consultation with their high school principal. This $1,500 annual scholarship requires recipients to complete 75 hours of serve to the college each semester and enroll in at least 15 credit hours. The deadline to apply is Jan. 15.

All students are eligible to apply for the following scholarships:

Cleveland State Ambassadors Scholarship: This scholarship requires a minimum 2.5 G.P.A., 19 composite ACT score and an application to the Ambassadors program through the Office of Admissions and Recruiting. Ambassadors receive a $1,000 annual scholarship and serve as representatives for the college by receiving visitors to the campus, visiting area high schools and assisting college staff at campus events. The deadline to apply is June 1.

Foundation Scholarships: This scholarship requires a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. and a 19 composite ACT score. Award amounts vary. There are a variety of Foundation Scholarships available. They may be awarded based on merit, major, club affiliation, employer or other factors. In general, these are need-based scholarships. The deadline to apply is June 1.

Diversity Scholarship: This scholarship requires a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. and a 19 composite ACT score. Priority is given to students with need, adults and STEM applicants. The deadline to apply is March 1.

Diversity Access Scholarship: This scholarship requires a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. and a 19 composite ACT score. Diversity Access is for first-time college students. Priority is given to students with need and STEM applicants. The deadline to apply is March 1.

In order to apply for scholarships, you must be accepted as a student at Cleveland State and have access to your CougarNet account.
