Mary T. Barker Humanities Building Open After Renovations

September 16, 2021 — This fall semester, Cleveland State Community College students are able to experience the newly renovated Mary T. Barker Humanities Building. The Humanities renovation was part of the college’s revitalization project. The total project cost was $25 Million with $2.5 Million allocated from fundraising and $22.5 Million from state funding. CSCC Students Save $1.7 Million Through the Digital Engagement Initiative

September 07, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College is helping students save money on coursework materials. Students now have the option to purchase online textbooks through the Digital Engagement Initiative (DEI). This initiative has saved students approximately $1.7 million since 2019. CSCC Welcomes SWAP Students from Yellowstone National Park

August 26, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College recently welcomed students back from Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming as part of the Student Wildlands Adventure Program (SWAP). SWAP is a student exchange program that allows students to gain experience in other parts of the country at little or no expense to them. CSCC Student Athletes Named to the NJCAA All-American Teams and NJCAA Team Academic Award

July 29, 2021 — Not only are the student athletes competitive in their games at Cleveland State Community College, but they’re also dominating in the classrooms. The CSCC athletic department would like to recognize 16 student athletes for being named in the NJCAA All-Academic teams for the 2020-2021 year. Federal Funding Supports CSCC Students

July 27, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College has received $3.6 million in federal funding from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF) to help students negatively impacted by the pandemic. Through this program, students can receive extra money to help pay for their upcoming fall and spring semester, along with other needs like housing, healthcare, or childcare.  Read more about Federal Funding Supports CSCC Students
