Freshman Brice Moorhouse Started His Career Plan in High School

August 21, 2023 — Cleveland State Community College freshman, Brice Moorhouse, has a plan for his future, and he started working on that plan at Polk County High School (PCHS). Combining work-based learning experience, industry certifications and classroom education, Moorhouse will major in surveying at Cleveland State and plans to operate his own surveying business. High School Student Earns Associate Degree in Mechatronics

June 05, 2023 — With a love for technology and STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) classes, Angelia Rouser chose to major in mechatronics technology at Cleveland State Community College. She graduated in May with the first Tennessee Valley Early College (TVEC) cohort from Walker Valley High School earning an associate degree the week before receiving her high school diploma. Father and Daughter Graduate Together

May 18, 2023 — Although Scott Flaherty has an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree, he had never participated in a graduation ceremony until Friday, May 5 at Cleveland State. Flaherty wanted to graduate with his daughter, Heather. This father and daughter duo started together at Cleveland State in fall 2021 and graduated together last week.
