WorkForce Development at Cleveland State Community College utilizes and integrates a collection of hands-on or knowledge based tests and assessments used for pre-employment or pre-advancement selection, and training needs identification. We staff trained Industrial Psychologist Experts to administer and coordinate the testing. You can count on us for our testing programs to be valid, confidential, thorough, and quickly scored. These assessments allow company leaders to improve their decision making process when assessing their unique business needs. 

We also use these assessments as a tool to give companies a baseline before any of our trainings begin. We then assess post-training to give companies the knowledge of what their employees learned through our robust training offerings.

WorkForce Development has available a variety of hands-on work sample tests including mechanical, electrical, PLC, Process Control, CNC, and dexterity assessments to use in candidate selection or incumbent training. Our I-O Psychology practitioners are also well versed in assessment centers and in-basket tests, can develop and validate custom assessments to fit your business needs.

WorkForce Development has partnered with NOCTI to deliver pre-employment testing, measure prior learning assessment, award post-secondary certification, and identify training needs. NOCTI offers a wide variety of testing services to fit your needs.
