CSCC’S Seymour Honored with National Phi Theta Kappa Award

February 20, 2021 — Dr. Bill Seymour, Cleveland State’s President, was recently honored with the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction. Named in honor of Phi Theta Kappa’s longest-serving Board of Directors member and long-time president of Highline Community College in Washington, this is the most prestigious award for community college presidents. CSCC’s An Evening with Archie Manning Rescheduled for 2022

February 12, 2021 — Cleveland State Community College was set to have the father of football’s first family, Archie Manning, as the headlining guest speaker for CSCC’s Homecoming Weekend this past August, but due to COVID-19, the college has chosen to reschedule Manning’s speaking engagement to March 19, 2022. June 08, 2020 — Cleveland State student Beau Neidich is the recent recipient of two scholarships to UTC, the UTC Assets and Dean’s Merit Scholarships available through the College of Engineering and Computer Science. These scholarships provide academic and financial support for students majoring in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. April 09, 2020 — Hospitals were in desperate need of face shields to protect doctors, nurses, and other staff from the Coronavirus.
