What is Information Systems Emphasis A.S.?
EXPECTED HOURS FOR A.S. (TTP) DEGREE: 60-62
This program is intended for students who plan to transfer to an Information Systems Bachelor’s degree program at a university. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems is for those who plan to work in some area of computer applications in the business field. Areas of study include data communications, database management, and systems analysis and design, along with an emphasis on programming in several languages that are useful for business applications.
Program Outcomes
The Information Systems Emphasis General Transfer Major, A.S. is a Tennessee Transfer Path program that prepares students for transfer to Tennessee four-year institutions. Credits earned in this program often transfer to other private institutions as well.
