Registering for Dual Enrollment

New Students

To register for a dual-enrollment course, you must complete the online Cleveland State Community College Dual Enrollment application and submit test scores (if applicable) & HS transcript. As part of the application process, you will be required to provide a parent’s email address to complete the Parent Permission Form. Once you are accepted into Cleveland State’s Dual Enrollment Program, you will be eligible to register for classes. Registration opens in April for the Summer and Fall semesters, and in November for the Spring semester. Please note that registration may be delayed if your high school has not yet submitted its course listing.

1. Go to mycs.cc/applyde to begin an application.
2. Enter name, email address, birth date
3. An email with your PIN will be sent to the email address listed, which will allow you to create your account and set your password. You will need this information in the future.
4. Once logged in, begin the application, starting with Personal Background
5. At the end of each page, click “continue”
6. Insert your parent/guardian accurate email address on that page. An approval will be sent to that address for them to sign. You cannot be registered for classes until this is signed.

Returning Students

Returning students should log into the Dual Enrollment Dashboard using their email address and password, then proceed to select your classes.

Registration opens in April for the Summer and Fall semesters, and in November for the Spring semester. Please note that registration may be delayed if your high school has not yet submitted its course listing.

Books for Courses

Dual-enrollment students are responsible for purchasing books required for classes, and you can buy them through the Cleveland State Bookstore.

Check with your school’s guidance office to find out when a Cleveland State representative will be on campus to assist with course registration, or check your student portal dashboard for upcoming Dual Enrollment registration events.
