Dr. Andy White - Cleveland State's 8th President

April 17, 2024 — Cleveland State Community College welcomed Dr. Andy White as the eighth president of the college earlier this month. White served 20 years in the United States Air Force then worked for the University of Tennessee, Volunteer State Community College and Belmont University. Social Work Faculty Spotlight – Jana Pankey

April 10, 2024 — She grew up less than a mile from Cleveland State Community College, riding her bicycle on the tennis courts and going to basketball games with her father. Later, she became the first medical social worker and youngest department head at Cleveland Community Hospital. Social Work Student Spotlight – Emily Henry

March 12, 2024 — Meigs County native, Emily Henry, is a full-time student majoring in social work. She will graduate in May and transfer to Tennessee Wesleyan University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social work. Her goal is to work for a non-profit organization or a local school system. Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Named REACH Chapter

March 06, 2024 — The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter at Cleveland State Community College has been named a 2023 REACH Chapter by the national Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The recognition celebrates and rewards PTK chapters excelling in membership engagement by achieving exceptionally high rates of membership acceptance in the 2023 calendar year.
