CLEVELAND, TN - Cleveland State Community College Workforce Development Department recently partnered with East Tennessee State University (ETSU) to provide testing for ETSU’s long distance/online students.

Since November 2022, five local ETSU students have taken their senior exit exam for ETSU College of Business and Technology on the Cleveland State campus. Workforce Development provides the online proctor service. “The scheduling process is simple, and students have the ability to test locally, if driving the distance is prohibitive,” said Bre LaMountain, Workforce Development Testing Coordinator.

“Partnerships such as the one between myself and Bre LaMountain at Cleveland State's Workforce Development Assessment Center are crucial to my work. Her expertise in proctoring ETSU College of Business and Technology Senior Exit Exams brings immense benefits to students in the area, ensuring a fair and standardized assessment process to all College of Business and Technology students,” said Laura Bennington, Assessment Analyst at the ETSU College of Business and Technology.

Cleveland State Workforce Development Assessment Center partners with public and private organizations to deliver secure, standardized proctoring services. This includes proctoring individuals for academic tests, employee selection and progression tests, pre- and post-training and apprenticeship tests. For more information, contact Bre LaMountain at 423-614-8795 or alamountain@clevelandstatecc.edu.
